Allotments Association Working Parties

A fantastic job ,very well done by Tom,Jackie,Ian Christine, Andy P and Colette. Thanks also to Jackie's son, Lewis , for providing a trailer and taking away the all the branches etc. Also for bringing his own equipment and helping to trim the hedges.

  • Wanted to go on the allotment yesterday but too wet, saw these signs of life and the wall backing onto my allotment was a sign of spring, it makes you want to get started.

Robin Plot 3

Plot 3 all ready for planting and one of our very friendly robin who was keeping me company whilst I was weeding the raspberries. He was obviously ignoring social distancing as at one point was only 1 ft  away from me.

It's been a bumper year for potatoes as illustrated by Andy Wilson's crop on the left & Liz Jackson's crop on the right. We reckon Andy's haul weighs 75 lb & surely Liz's must match it.
