          Saturday Swap Shop

Our first Saturday Swap Shop was held on 10th September and 12x plot holders were given the chance to chat together whilst enjoying a brew and some delicious cake.

Advice was given on where to purchase seeds and seed potatoes, suggestions for other social events were made and some homemade soup and ratatouille was offered. A collection of books were donated and these are available to borrow from inside the shelter.

Our next meeting will be in October.

First pick on the first day of spring

Wanted to go on the allotment yesterday but too wet, saw these signs of life and the wall backing onto my allotment was a sign of spring, it makes you want to get started.

Robin
Plot 3

Plot 3 all ready for planting and one of our very friendly robin who was keeping me company whilst I was weeding the raspberries. He was obviously ignoring social distancing as at one point was only 1 ft  away from me.
