Involvement in  the Community is very important to the High Lane Allotments Association,

Our Annual Open Day is a always well attended by the local community, an event many look forward to each year. Visitors get the chance to tour the plots, chat to the plot-holders, enjoy some refreshments and take part in our competition to judge the plots. Entertainment is provided for the children and of course they is the chance to purchase our produce.

This year we have planned a visit to the site for some partially sighted children and some of the residentts from Abbeyfield have enjoyed a walk round the plots, chatting to some of the plot holders , To finalise their visit they were offered tea and cakes, which contained some ingredients grown on our plots.
